Locomotive Worksplate “LMS Built 1926 Horwich”. Locomotives built that year are 8 x Hughes Moguls (Crabs) numbered 13000-13007, This first batch of crabs had their worksplate affixed to the smokebox sides, being convexed. Embossed cast brass, repainted face, cleaned back. Very rare plate.
